Larry Crabb was on Moody's Wednesday Midday Connection talking about the "papa" prayer.

Key points from my notes are:

"Prayer is getting more of God, not getting more from God."

p -- present yourself to God without pretense. be authentic.

a -- attend to God as He is (align your perception of God with the reality of God as revealed in the Bible)

p -- purge whatever is getting in the way of your relationship with God. Ask: what do I treasure more than my intimacy with Him?

a -- approach God to get what He is most eager to give .. Himself.
