Thanks to Andrew for encouraging us from The Word yesterday about "looking like Jesus." His two key points were:

If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That's to prevent anyone from confusing God's incomparable power with us.

i was just reflecting on that verse last week myself. it gives me joy and hope that my body is a 'clay pot', and though it can be destroyed, the good news i have in my heart continues . this is a very uplifting verse for me, and it shows how we don't have to 'speak with the tongues of men and angels' in order to share our message. though the good news is tremendous, we hold it in fragile pots that everyone can relate to. by sharing with the love that Jesus had and the example that paul left us, we can make our pots glorious!
