Sermon: Living in the Gaps

Yesterday Aaron preached on "living in the gaps" based on the first few chapters of Exodus. For example, as chapter 3 starts with "now" there was a forty year gap between chapter three verse one and the end of chapter two. We live in the gaps. God responds (see chapter 2: 24-25, "God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them." ), but in His timing. As we live in the gaps we have lots of questions but we hang on to the promises because we are His children.

Gal 3: 26-29

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
