Lora and I went to the Youth for Tomorrow banquet tonight. What a fantastic ministry! The guest speakers were Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy whose story was made famous by the movie Blindside.
The Tuohy’s shared their story of adopting Michael Oher who now plays for the Baltimore Ravens.
One of the most moving scenes in the movie is when Leigh Anne tells Sean to turn around because she saw Michael by the side of the road. Most people would have just kept on driving, but Leigh Anne said two words that changed their lives forever: turn around.
It reminded me once again that life can turn on a dime. We’re only one decision away from a totally different life. We’re only one decision away from making a difference. We’re only one decision away from a miracle.
