kind of touched a slightly exposed nerve with me...despite the fact that we are all created in His image and we each seem to be imbued with different "aspects" of the Divine persona / personality, nevertheless, people who are detail oriented as I am have been branded by other less detail oriented christians with unfortunate, hurtful names like "anal retentive",
"anal", "obsessive compulsive",
"Martha types", "worry warts",
"OCD", etc., etc., etc. "All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them [gifts]to each one, just as he determines." 1 Cor 12:11 NIV "But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be." 1 Cor 12:18 NIV Let's rejoice and glory in our differences, and celebrate God's wonderful wisdom in distributing his gifts as he has determined. Let's celebrate the amazing gifts our brothers and sisters have that we don't have. God *is* in the details!
