Prayer verse for this week is 1 Cor 15: 57-58
I've been taking encouragement from the last part of verse 58: " .. because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain"; therefore, that encourages me to do the first part of verse 58: "Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord".
57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. [NIV]
58With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don't hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort. [The Message]
